This example is what you are looking for! Alientech’s technicians have applied the tuning method, developed in many years of experience on the field, to a Volkswagen Polo fifth series: if you have a Volkswagen vehicle with 1.4l TDI engine, equipped with a Delphi DCM6.2V control unit in your workshop, this practical example will answer your needs!

Don’t waste time trying to create a tuned file from zero, or checking your changes again and again: our results are guaranteed because they are already tested on bench! If you are a beginner, don’t worry about anything: this lesson is designed to be an easy and precise guide.

Just follow each step of the tuning procedure and you won’t have any problem! If, on the other hand, you are a more experienced tuner, start from this solid base and adjust it to meet your needs!

In just 30 minutes, you’ll learn the technical features of the vehicle, the engine and its control unit. You’ll understand how to connect the car to Alientech’s tools and how the original file is structured. At an affordable price, you’ll have access to technical specifications that will give you the opportunity to widen your pool of vehicles: not only Volkswagen vehicles, but also Skoda, Seat and Audi!

Give your clients a tuned file that improves the performance of their car without compromising its reliability in any way. Take the leap!

The 1.4l TDI installed on the Volkswagen Polo, which is able to produce up to 66 kWs of power, is a versatile and extremely reliable engine. The vehicle is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive. Volkswagen Group has fitted the same engine on a large number of Skoda, Volkswagen, Seat and Audi vehicles.

One lesson of about 30 minutes, composed by 3 sections:

First section:

in this part we will describe the characteristics of the vehicle by listing version, equipment, year of production, traction and type of gearbox. Then, we indicate all the vehicles – even of different car manufacturers – equipped with the same engine or similar version; immediately after, the specifications of the engine control unit will be specified in detail: that is the identification data and the versions for the emission classes. In addition, we talk about the types of connection with Alientech tools – which are useful for the remapping – by indicating the protocols of use, the available functions and giving some practical advice for editing operations. Finally, the structure of the original file is presented by indicating the addresses and the various areas.

Second section:

this part directly addresses the remapping practice. After a brief introduction, we present the summary list of the maps that will be modified, the Alientech modification method and its specific application to the vehicle in question. Following the wizard of this remapping practice, you will be able to create a mapping that will ensure high performance and guaranteed reliability.

Third section:

this last part is dedicated to the discovery of the potentialities of this remapping practice: the new increases, compared to the original settings of the vehicle in a precise and detailed chart, clarify efficaciously how this remapping practice is effective and surprising.
